Changes Coming To SarahFoil.com In 2022

December 31, 2021 Sarah Foil

We’re at the very end of 2021 and it’s been an important year for me. I’m raising a toddler, working on a few new book projects, advancing my career, and thinking hard about what I want in the future. And though all of that, I’ve somehow reached the 4 year anniversary of my website! It’s hard to believe that I’ve been active for so long.

With that being said, so much has changed since I first started my blog, and the model I have for posting no longer works best for me or my schedule. So the biggest change coming inthe new year will be ending my twice per week posting routine. I’ll still be posting blog posts, but they’ll no longer be on a set schedule. I do hope to have at least one blog post for you per month, but it will depend on the content available. My hope with this major change is that I’ll be able to provide my readers with higher quality content and promote more books that I feel passionate about. I also hope to be able to provide more indepth reviews, interviews and more.

I will still be accepting guest blog post submissions and review/interview requests, however I will be more selective in what books I accept for reviews. I will only be reviewing Young Adult Fantasy or Science Ficiton novels, as usual, but I may choose to decline more requests depending on if the story interests me or if I have any similiar books already lined up.

With more time available, I’m going to be focusing heavily on my own writing projects as I have multiple lined up at the moment. I also plan to post more original content on my social media and be more engaged with my readers through my instagram and twitter platforms. If you don’t already follow me on these channels, I recommend heading over there soon.

Thank you all for your support over the last four years and I’m looking forward to seeing how this new schedule benefits both me and my blog. Happy new year!
