Happy Valentine’s Day
Last Friday night I celebrated a laid back Valentine’s Day with my husband. We don’t like fighting through crowds for dinner, so we instead enjoyed our own tradition of dinner at home and a view of my favorite movie, The Princess Bride..
Snow!
After months of alternating freezing weather and tons of rain, we finally got snow this week. It snowed heavily for a few hours, giving us a couple of inches of accumulation. It may not sound like month, but it’s enough for everyone in North Carolina to lose their minds.
Cleaning Frenzy
I’m not sure if I just really felt the cleaning bug or if I was actively procrastinating writing a new scene for my current WIP. But last weekend I was overcome with the need to do a deep clean of our house. The good news is that it was a productive day, even if it was the best writing day.
Starting Nursery Transition
Last weekend we also started the process to get our guest bedroom turned into a nursery. It’s a big job, as the room currently only gathers our junk, so it’ll be a slow transition but we’re a little bit closer now.
New Girl Rewatch
My most recent rewatching binge has been the Fox show, New Girl, starring Zooey Deschanel. I’ve watched the show all the way through only once, though I’ve seen the first two seasons many times. It’s a light hearted and easy to watch show while I’m busy doing other things around the house.
