Weekend Getaway
Last weekend, my husband and I took a quick trip up to Richmond Virginia to visit some family. We had a lovely, but short, weekend, eating great food and wandering around the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
Prenatal Yoga
I took my first prenatal yoga class this week! I’m very lucky that a coworker bought me some free classes to start out with, because I was nervous about trying it out. I love yoga, but wasn’t sure what to expect in a specialized class. It was such a great experience though. I was able to share some of my aches, pains and issues and get real help to resolve them.
Charlotte Day Trip
I took a quick trip down to Charlotte, North Carolina this week for work. It was a busy day of learning, training and trying to keep up with my other responsibilities, but it was a great experience. Of course, after a 2 hour trip there, and 2 hours back, I was completely exhausted and went to sleep almost right after I got home.
Happy Birthdays!
This week, both my brother and my sister-in-law celebrated their 24th birthdays. A very happy birthday to Rich and Wendi! Hope you had a great week and some much deserved fun.
Catching Up With Old Friends
I had a chance to catch up with a friend from college this week, who I haven’t seen in a while. We didn’t have long, but did get to share some coffee and talk about what has been new in our lives. It really reminded me how many great people I have in my life that I need to do a better job keeping in touch with.
