Baby Shower Planning
Our original plans for a baby shower have obviously been delayed, but I’m really lucky to have such caring family in my life. They’re planning a drive-by shower for our friends and family who are local and a virtual shower for those who aren’t able to travel.
More Rain…
It hasn’t stopped raining for the past 10 or so days. Everything is soaked through and if anyone says they haven’t had some part of their home leaking, they’re lying. Our basement has been the main culprit for us. I don’t mind the rain and gray skies if it didn’t cause everything else to fall apart.
Community
My binge-watch of the week is going back to watch the classic sitcom, Community. During such a stressful and crazy week, it’s been nice to watch such a low-key and silly show. It helps that the dialogue and plot are cleverly done. I highly recommend it.
Cat Emergency Vet Visits
Unfortunately, this week, we found out the hard way that lilies are very toxic to cats. We found some vomit with petals and after contacting our vet, found out whichever one of our cats ate the flower would be at high risk of going into renal failure. After two days of being on IV, one cat has been cleared to take home but our other cat is not progressing as well. We should know more by the end of the day today.
Time To Edit
I’m working on my next round of edits on my current work in progress recently. Things are going slowly but surely. I hope to had this round completely done by the end of June and have things sent out to my new editor before baby comes!
