North Carolina Wine Festival
Over Memorial Day weekend, I took a girls trip to the North Carolina Wine Festival. It was miserably hot and humid, so we didn’t get to enjoy the music and wine as much as we have in past years. But, before the heat stroke set in, we got to taste and buy some delicious wines.
Round Planet
My husband and I love nature documentaries and irreverent comedies, so this BBC show is perfect for us. Matt Lucas poses as a natural historian who’s fed up with his job. It’s hilarious and education and I highly recommend it to any nature documentary fans!
Inkedvoices.com Workshop
I know I’ve mentioned Inkedvoices.com before, but make sure you check this site out if you’re ever looking for a workshop group or critique partners. This month, I participated in a free workshop with other YA and MG authors and have some awesome recommendation to help me jump into the next round of revisions for my new novel.
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope
While doing a Target binge over the weekend, I saw a discounted copy of this game for Nintendo Switch. The Harvest Moon series on Gamecube was one of my favorite games when I was kid, so I could not wait to take the newest episode home to play. And since I bought it, I’ve been completely addicted. Seriously, I’ve done nothing this week except play this game.
Big Trip Next Week!
On Tuesday, I’ll be leaving for a girlfriends’ trip to Los Angeles. If you contact me in the next week or so, expect delayed replies, as I won’t be taking my laptop with me. I am able to help in case of emergencies, but will not be as readily available.
