INDIE AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT

Labor Day!
I took Monday off from my day job to enjoy Labor Day. I spent most of it editing my novel and doing some work anyways, but I also got to take a bath and eat junk food and watch movies. It was definitely a relaxing day!
Anniversary
My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary this weekend. We went back to the aquarium that hosted our wedding, hung out at our favorite barcade and had dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse. It was a really fun day and great way to celebrate our first year together.
Agent Search
With my first few pitches out and #Pitmad this weekend, I guess this Query thing really is happening! It's both exciting and terrifying to finally have my work out in the real world waiting for feedback. The wait, however, is pure torture.
Harry Potter
To help take my mind off the craziness of my query journey, I've been watching Harry Potter movies every night. It's been great to relive some of my favorite childhood stories, even if I've watched them about a thousand times already.
