3 Amazing Young Adult Fantasy Books You Haven’t Read

Love Young Adult Fantasy but struggling to find a great new book to read? Lucky for you, I’ve been reading all kinds of books lately and have some recommendations. Here are three amazing YA Fantasy books you’ve probably never even heard of:

The Bond By Robin Kirk

Back in 2018, I had the opportunity to host this author for their cover reveal and also review the book. If you love dystopian novels like Hunger Games and Handmaids Tale, this should be on your must-read list. The writing is exquisite, the characters are fascinating and you’ll have trouble putting the book down once you pick it up. If you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription, this book is available for free. This is the first book in The Bond Trilogy and the sequel will be out later this year. Check back in for a review and new interview!

The Shadow Rises by K.S. Marsden

If Supernatural Fantasy is more your style, you’ll love the Witch Hunter series. It’s probably considered more of a New Adult book than Young Adult, but that shouldn’t stop you from giving it a read. The book was originally published in January 2013 but I was introduced to the series through its excellent audiobook just last year. The story is full of twists and turns you won’t see coming, plus a steamy romance. All three books in the series are out now, and the first book is free for digital download on Amazon.

Waters of Salt & Sin by Alisha Klapheke

And finally, we have the first book in the Uncommon World collection that is a pure fun adventure fantasy story. I reviewed this book last year based on an audiobook I received from the author and rated it 5 stars! The book features a truly original world and magic system that I’ve never seen before. The main character was well developed and interesting and the plot was fascinating. The other books in these series are unrelated, but still well worth the read. The first book in the collection is free if you have Kindle Unlimited subscription!
