A Look Ahead at 2018

Welcome to the New Year! I can't believe it at all. It feels like I should still have a couple months left in 2017, but it's too late for that now. It's time to look ahead to what this year will hold and what you can expect from my blog in the next 12 months.

In addition to remembering to write 2018 on all my documents sometime within January, here are some of my goals:

1. Read. Read. Read.

This year, my goal is to be read one book every week, mostly Young Adult Fantasy novels. What this means for you, the reader, is that you can expect a blog post about once a week. I still hope to have some author interviews from time to time as well.

2. Write. Write. Write.

I'd love to do more writing this year, especially since I don't have my MFA deadlines forcing me to write as much as I have in the past. My goal is to write for around 3 hours per week on my creative works, not including blog posts.

3. Writer's Blog Tour

My hope is to do some guest posts on other blogs in the upcoming year as well as have some guest bloggers come on here and create some new content for you all! If you have a blog and would like to talk about some blog tour opportunities or if you have a favorite blogger you'd like to see on SarahFoil.com, please reach out to me via my contact page.

4. Expanding Services

My services as a writer, editor and media manager are available to everyone. I'd love to help you with your novel, small business or author career this year. I can help with ghostwriting, ghost blogging, editing and revision, coaching and even  manage your social media outlets for you. These services are perfect for indie authors, so if you're interested reach out to me via my contact page, mention this post and I'll give you half off your first invoice.

5. YOU!

This year, I'd really love to hear more from you, my readers. Please don't hesitate to post questions, comments, concerns, requests in the comments section below any blog post. Tell me what you did like, what you didn't like, what sorts of posts you'd like to see going forward. Anything at all! I want to talk to you and start a conversation. You can also reach me on Facebook and Twitter.

What are you all looking to accomplish this year? Read more? Write more? How do you want to see our community here change over the next 12 months?
